With orange thread or half-plied worsted weight yarn and 1.25mm hook and working flat,

1 – CH 7 (1 is to turn).  SC in 2nd from hook and each across = 6

8 – SC 2, CH 1, fold long sides together so they meet and SS in sides of 7 rows, leave long tail for sewing.  Stuff nose with beginning tail and a scrap of yarn if necessary.  Use tail to sew nose to face.

With black and F Hook, Working in the Round,

3 – SC BLO around = 12
4-6 – SC in both loops around = 12

6 – For this round, randomly make SS, SC, HDC, DC and Tr but make two in each stitch around = 48.  This makes each snowman unique and more realistic as they never melt into perfect circles.
7 – Optional round – SC around.

Stuff head and sew it towards one side or towards the back of the body.  Make hat, carrot nose, and scarf if desired.  Finish with beads for eyes, mouth, and buttons.
