For the first ever Mad Crochet Lab Experiment performed exclusively on a platform I’m no longer active on, my test subjects and I first identified a severe problem on there and we resolved to fix it! It seems there were a LOT of accounts that were inactive and had no profile pics, so they basically just looked like a blank green head. I am extremely happy to report that the experiment went very well and we succeeded in transforming those green heads into accounts with some personality! Take a look below at our results and see for yourself!
Dollyknickers earned 100 points for her experiment. How could she not? Her greenhead was completely transformed from having the personality of a wet dishcloth to this amazing, colorful and lively creation called Bow. She also earned a bonus point for being the first to complete Phase I. Now I just hope Wydowna can keep her fangs off him! Congratulations on a job well done, Dolly! 🙂

Sharon earns 99 points out of 100 for her successful experiment of eliminating a greenhead on the platform by giving it some personality! She gets a bonus point for also finding a pink one and doing the same! 🙂 I know – who knew there were pink ones too? I didn’t. 😉

During this experiment, Faye found out, to all of our surprise, that if you spill coffee on a greenhead, it multiplies, much like Mogwai in the movie Gremlins. But she was able to successfully eliminate the greenheads by giving them each some personality! Woot. I love them all! She earns 33-1/3 points for each of her experiments. I had to subtract a point from her for the coffee waste, but then added a point back because she cleaned up the spill. 😉

Rebekah earned 98 points out of 100. I had to subtract two because she forgot her tools. *gasp!* I know, right? But then she quickly earned the two points back by finding a way to put some personality into her greenhead even after it was lost! She’s magic, I tell you! A job well done! And another win for Operation Occupy Platform!

Rhonda earned 75 points for this experiment, plus an addition 25 for creativity! She figured if the greenheads were going to act like aliens on the platform, then they may as well look like them too! Fab photos and great little spaceships too! (How do they get in and out of those things?) Anyway, Operation Occupy Platform gains another occupant to replace a greenhead!

Here you can see Michele’s greenhead – she immediately gave her some flowing blue locks to give her some personality and I would have given her the full 100 points if she hadn’t let her experiment escape from the lab!!!!!! :0
Her greenhead, named Blue, ended up getting seasick!
Then Blue laid out in sun…
And she ended up getting sunburned! Michele almost lost all her points for this experiment. But I had a think on it (and a Margarita) and then realized that Blue had gone and done all these things without any limbs which HAS to be difficult and in the process, Michele actually ended up eliminating three greenheads and giving them personality! So all was forgiven and full points awarded! Nice work!

This experiment by Sparklerose earned 99 points right off the bat because adding that giant eye gave it infinite more personality than it had as a greenhead! She finished it off with gorgeous rosette curls and a flower adornment for a bonus point. Another victory for Operation Occupy Platform! Woot!

Olga’s punk greenhead transformation was amazing! Nobody can say this little greenhead has no personality now. Olga receives 98 points for her experiment, plus a bonus two points for combining my two favorite colors in with the hair – yellow and blue! I don’t know how she knew that. 😉 This is the last of the experiments in Operation Occupy Platform. I think it went well despite some beta bugginess. 🙂

Even our honorary group member contributed to the efforts. Clod is not allowed to wield a crochet hook in my experiments after the nasty Pink Hat of Death incident and was restricted to using only drawing utensils. You can see she was able to take a greenhead and turn it into something completely different. She earned one point for her experiment but I subtracted it after seeing what she did here with a sacred crochet hook. 😉
